Darul Makmur Mosque fulfils the thirst for Islamic knowledge regardless of age. From as young as 4 years old, Darul Makmur open doors to Islamic knowledge through various units to reach out to the Muslim society and provide a place for the congregation to learn and understand the concepts of Islam and religious knowledge.


Our Kindergarten Unit nutures children from 4 to 6 years old in our Nursery (4 years), Kindergarten 1 (5 years) & Kindergarten 2 (6 years).

Our children achieve excellence through our education programmes which integrates Islamic awareness skills with academic knowledge. We strive to give a holistic education including religious knowledge, character building and empowering each child to be enthusiastic life-long learner.

We envision being among the best mosque practiced kindergarten that is affordable while providing quality teaching programs and activities for our children.

Our lesson plans and curriculum are crafted to suit both academic and Islamic teachings to maximize students’ potential. Understanding that they learn best through play and exploration, we provide a caring atmosphere that gives them the freedom to experiment and explore via Hands-On approach in class and outside the classroom.

Darul Makmur Mosque Kindergarten operates two sessions:

  • Session A from 8 am to 11 am
  • Session B from 11 am to 2 pm.

Our Madrasah provides Islamic Education for Children & Youths aged 5 – 25 years old. We continuosly explore opportunities to attract our youth into becoming be a part of the mosque.

The aLIVE programmes aim to develop righteous children who are nurtured with Iman (God-consciousness) and Akhlak (good character), with knowledge in Islam, to become practicing Muslims and to show care and concern towards others. The aLIVE programmes are made relevant to the development of kids, tweens, teens and youth. Designed to appeal to young people, the programmes aim to inspire students to continue Learning Islamic Values Every day.

aLIVE madrasah classes are available on weekends and in English.

Enrichment & Holiday Programmes

We conduct one-on-one enrichment lessons for our students in Mari Bertalaqqi & Mari Bersolat classes on weekdays. During school holidays, we conduct holiday programmes such as aSL (Solat Learning), aQL (Quranic Literacy) and Aqil Baliqh (Understanding Puberty).

Quality Trainers

Our Asatizahs are qualified and specially trained to deliver the content effectively by engaging in activities and relating classroom learning to the students’ lives. Most of the Asatizah are graduates of established Islamic Universities such as Al-Azhar and the International Islamic University of Malaysia. They are also required to attend regular training sessions organised by MUIS to improve on their teaching skills.

The function of the Dakwah Unit is to manage the affairs of Ibadah, Dakwah & Family Development. We deliver a wide range of classes conducted by accredited Islamic teachers, 7 days a week. Most of the classes conducted are free of charge and open to members of the public.

Our Dakwah Unit’s main objectives are based on the following values:

Make the mosque as a touch point that changes lives by enhancing Islamic outreach, establishing a support base, increase participation in programmes and alleviating the social challenges of the community. Adopt a total service concept of “from cradle to the grave” to encourage congregants and families to view mosques as a central to their lives.

*Some of our popular Dakwah classes include Mufti of Singapore Tafsir Al-Quran classes conducted every Sunday after maghrib and Ustazah Habsah Senin’s religious classes for Muslimah every Thursday after maghrib.
